Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Nurse Practitioner supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality providing school-based primary healthcare and mobile clinic program oversight in accordance with program and hospital policies and procedures as well as state and federal rules and regulations.
Minimum of one year of previous experience in providing services to pediatric patients in a community or school setting strongly preferred
Previous supervisory experience directing other clinical and/or administrative staff preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred
Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing program
Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
Current Arizona nursing license and Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner certification
Current DEA license
Minimum of two years of pediatric clinical experience
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certified
Current AHA PALS certified
Current, valid AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card issued pursuant to Arizona law or provide documentation of application for AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card within seven (7) days of hire
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Proficiency working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
