Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Family Medicine Residency of Idaho (FMRI) is currently recruiting a NP or PA to be a provider and Clinic Director at our community health center in Kuna, Idaho. Work week is 32 hours of patient care time, including one evening clinic. This position provides direct patient care while collaborating with the Clinic Lead RN and Lead Receptionist to facilitate efficient clinical operations. This position also acts as the interface with our broader organization, working closely with the Chief Medical Officer.
This is an excellent opportunity to serve the underserved and uninsured population of Ada County. Our progressive organization operates six Federally Qualified Health Centers in Ada County Idaho. FMRI is one of the 11 original teaching health centers, combining a family medicine residency program and a community health center. Each of our clinic locations have received Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home accreditation with family medicine residents training at four locations. We also offer our patients a full suite of outpatient mental and behavioral health services. FMRI is a team based care environment providing services to the local uninsured, underserved and refugee population which creates the unique opportunity to embark on a "medical mission without the need for a passport".

Three or more years of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably working as part of dynamic, team based care team;
Interest in working with underserved and/or uninsured populations;
Ability to speak a Spanish preferred but not essential;
Desire to work semi-independently in a small clinic;
FMRI is a tobacco-free workplace. Qualified applicants must complete a tobacco/nicotine free attestation prior to employment;
FMRI medical team members must have the ability to be fully credentialed, licensed and privileged;
Unrestricted / unconditional license to practice under the laws of the State of Idaho;
Possess an unrestricted Board of Pharmacy registration, unrestricted DEA registration and all necessary federal narcotics and controlled substance numbers and licenses;
Maintain eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid and all other third party payment programs that contract with FMRI.

We have grown to a 16-16-16 program, have rural training tracks in Caldwell and the Magic Valley and have 4 Fellowships: Geriatrics, HIV/Primary Care, Obstetrics and Sports Medicine. FMRI is one of the 11 original Teaching Health Centers, combining a Family Medicine Residency Program and a Federally Qualified Health Center. We operate full-scope family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, infectious disease, refugee, and HIV clinics, a 340B pharmacy as well as the first school-based clinic in the state of Idaho. We also offer our patients a full suite of outpatient mental and behavioral health services.
