The Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center (Yonkers, New York) has an immediate full-time night shift and per diem opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our distinguished medical team.

We currently seek a skilled, compassionate Nurse Practitioner for our newly expanded state-of-the-art facility, which will soon be the largest provider of pediatric ventilator care in New York State. The Nurse Practitioner we seek will: Perform clinical evaluations of residents for acute illness or change in status; Provide medical services for residents who have chronic issues as needed; Order medications and ensure proper administration; Order and arrange transfer of residents to acute care facilities as indicated, including provision of written consultation and telephone call to receiving ED; In partnership with nurse supervisor, take active role in education, support, and guidance of staff; Write comprehensive monthly progress notes in conjunction with attending physician; Serve as highest ranking staff member when administrator or designee is not in facility; Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by supervisor, department director, and/or administration.
Qualified candidates must have Residency in Pediatrics or Family Medicine. Must be Board eligible or Board Certified required. New York State License and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) Certification are required.
