An exciting opportunity is available for a pediatric nurse practitioner to work alongside our pediatric hospitalists at The Children's Hospital at TriStar Centennial in Nashville, Tennessee. The practice cares for children on the pediatric floor with an average daily census of 18 to 20 admissions in the 26-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit. Responsibilities include assisting in managing patients on the pediatric floor by rounding with the hospitalists, may triage patients in the emergency department and mentor new graduate RNs. The ideal candidate will be flexible, as program may grow in the future, be efficient, be able to adapt to changing conditions on the pediatric floor and have a positive manner as well as attention to detail. Current schedule is M-F 7a-3p with occasional weekend or holiday but no regular weekend requirement.
