The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) is currently recruiting for a full-time doctoral-prepared Pediatric Nurse Practitioner faculty member with a program of scholarship to join the Department of Family and Community Health.
UMSON enrolls more than 1,800 students in its baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral programs and is ranked 7th among all schools of nursing in the nation. It is part of the University of Maryland graduate professional campus that also includes the schools of medicine, dentistry, social work, pharmacy, and law and is becoming one of the fastest growing biomedical research centers in the nation. Participate in the development, teaching, organization, and evaluation of the courses and precepted experiences for students in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialty.
Advise and mentor students; maintain an active program of scholarship; participate in faculty governance; and provide service to the school, university, and profession.
Master’s and/or DNP degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Primary Care required; Dual certified in Primary and Acute Care preferred.
Experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care required.
Active nursing license to practice in Maryland required.
