JOB SUMMARY: The associate program manager will be responsible for the overall research administrative management of the newly developed Center for Drug Safety and Immunology including its organization and administrative management. The Center is responsible for conducting and managing research on immunologically-mediated adverse drug reactions and coordinates a number of activities across international networks, multicenter studies. The center also has significant outreach to the community and patient advocacy groups. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day coordination of the center and program for all research activities including communication (meetings, conference calls, ongoing email and app communication, maintenance and updating of website) relevant to the center and its extensive international scientific collaborations and activities. This will also include coordinating major research activities, coordinating activities between scientists on both domestic and international sites and their networks. Additional activities will include management of grant planning activities, grants management in coordination with the Division of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Pharmacology grants managers and other activities related to the center such as management of regulatory binders, electronic manuscript submission and overall scheduling.
