We are looking for a strong leader for the Director of Advanced Practice Providers position in St. Paul, MN.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership and support implementing the strategic and operational objectives of Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in regards to our advanced practice providers and model of care. This includes the responsibility for ensuring the provision of high quality, safe care and achieving exemplary patient experiences while developing an engaged staff and provider group. Monitoring overall practice performance, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient experience, with a strong focus on standardization of workflow along with developing and introducing approved standards and guidelines for advanced practice providers are key to this role.
This individual also will be able to engage physicians, providers of care and senior leadership while leading efforts to define, prioritize and drive process improvement and service excellence.
Position Requirements Include:
Master’s degree with a clinical or business focus (obtained or in process)
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience relevant to the position
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare leadership, supervisory or managerial role within a relevant clinical setting
Demonstrate ability to initiate significant and complex process improvement initiatives that involve a number of stakeholders
Demonstrated managerial leadership including:
Ability to design and execute new and significantly revised work flows and processes on time and within budget
Ability to manage across function and service types with excellence in staff engagement, customer experience, and operational efficiency
Ability to define, analyze and interpret business information needs to promote and sustain successful operations from customer experience, revenue cycle, and operational efficiency perspectives.
Preferred Requirements Include:
Advance Practice Provider (Registered nurse or physician’s assistant)
Additional educational preparation and/or professional certification or advancement
Experience working with individuals with disabilities
