Schedule: Full Time 3- 4 days per week
Position Summary
Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Practice Clinic team in Westcliffe, Colorado. This opportunity is a full-time, clinic-based role serving rural communities with a strong need for accessible, high-quality primary care.
This position offers an opportunity to practice meaningful medicine in a setting where you can build relationships, work collaboratively and truly impact the health of the community. You are supported by a regional independent medical center located in Salida, Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-time, outpatient primary care
- Practice independently with strong physician support available
- Broad scope across the lifespan (pediatrics to geriatrics)
- Opportunities to manage chronic conditions, same-day needs, urgent care, and preventative care
- Supportive clinic teams with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs) and operational leadership in place

Requirements
Qualifications - What we're looking for
- Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 1+ years of primary care experience required
- Comfortable practicing in a rural setting with a wide scope
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach
